That's EXACTLY what my uncle says: Americans are arrogant. Heck, they don't even use Metric, which EVERY other country in the WORLD uses! Isn't that DUMB?! I live in USA but, I use Metric and use YYYY-MM-DD for my dates (I say them DD-MM-YYYY, though) and 24 hour for expressing time... |

i don't need to underline my opinion, cause that's what it is, my opinion, i am not trying to argue with you. i just had a short brief moment of letting you know what i think, without going into a argument with someone. |

Alright, but what I meant is that we keep hearing/reading this very opinion all day, from all over the world, and it's just upsetting because you come to wonder why people keep saying that, I don't think most people know exactly why they are saying that...most of the time it's just very easy to follow the genral trend, see what I mean ? "Oh my relatives have this point of view about this and that, I'm going to say the same thing as them, so that people will see I do have an opinion about things, that'll be great to boost my personality"
This is really stupid...most of them never take time to ponder before saying stuff and have a definite judgement faster that they should.
Well, i'm not saying that directly against you Nook, I hope you're not part of these people, that's all, and I know you do have the right to state your opinion, I had to react because that sounded like those people who never think about what's going on around them and just keep telling bull all day long.

| This would never pass. Its a direct violation to the us consitution. Plus impossible to enforce. They have enough trouble stopping traffic violaters. Plus how would the gov know if it was installed or not? Theres way to many computers to detect that, and as somone said before everyone person I know alos has illegal software and mp3s... It will never happen, dont worry about it... |

You stating that u hate America for its stupid laws, president and arrogant people only shows how arrogant u are.....inorder for u to say we are stupid , you must think you or your country is in some way better then all of us...and that my friend is very arrogant.,...
If you need further definitions on other words or common phrases please dont hestitate to ask.....jus understand what word you use and make sure your not acting the same manor before u express yourself...otherwise that is what someone would call ignorance. |

| well that's a bit untrue. how can you make that judgement about me when i haven't even made my thoughts clear about my own country. maybe i have the same problems with my own country. and as for the 'hate', it was a bad choice of words. and as for the stupid president. i really think he is stupid. this is not some attack, just a man expressing his opinion about him, i do not feel better than someone, i think we're all alike. i am far from arrogant. actually, i am a pretty nice guy. I am sure your a nice guy...i never questioned that..however you came into this thread ranting that America is arrogant and this and that....when that simpley is not true....
YES of course there are arrogant Americans...but there are also arrogant people in every nation in this world...you hate America...well thats your opinion...your entitled to that...but i suggest in the future to give reasons as to why...instead of jus saying it with no basis....gives your argument more credibility...dont you think? |
