i love how people are getting upset about her being 20 and he being 32.

It's not a big deal, and not an issue whatsoever. You all know my story :P

his bedroom issues have nothing to do with what he does at work and it should stay that way.

politicians are only human - and humans will and can cheat
it doesn't make him by default a worse candidate to run the city
IMO of course

sure it does.

It's not just about his "bedroom issues". This is a guy that easily and purposely deceived the person closest to him for over a year. He also blabbed about city/TTC business to his mistress.

Perhaps that's not a big deal to some, but it sure as makes me question his integrity, and his ability to run the largest city in Canada. I'm sure the majority would agree.

If buddy was smart, he would drop out now and save his effort and a whole lot of cash. Anyone running against him is going to be using this as ammo, and lets be honest, his reputation really sucks at this current point in time. I think his age will work against him to. People will view him as too young and too inexperienced to be mayor.

lol. as if.

anyways, you people really surprised?

a guy, 32 years old, fairly fit, nerd appeal, NOT MARRIED, what else do you expect?

end his career? as if, so what if a non-married guy has had some relations? at least he didn't marry his live in "friend" and have kids.

Also, like his partner didn't know about this? it is obvious she was just there to be the "political partner". if he didn't propose already then what do you expect?
Skipper
I think now at this point, he's more tarnished by the fact that he changed his story part way through the scandal. It's not as if he said there was only one and then more women came forward. He didn't think about his response the first time - clearly his instinct was to cover up the truth.

He's holding a press conference at 11 where he'll most likely drop the mayoral campaign. It's too bad this all came about. I personally would like to have seen how far someone his age could have gotten.

So you're saying cheating is cool, just as long as you aren't married and haven't proposed to your significant other?

And you know, it's very well possible when someone is LYING and HIDING things that the girlfriend couldn't find out. Especially given his career. That's a pretty handy excuse right there for not being around and having to leave at a moments notice.

Apparently there's now talk of a few men coming out and saying that they had 'relations' with him in addition to the women....not that it should matter since his relationship with his 'partner' probably wasn't legitimate in the first place since its purpose was just to help him advance his political career anyways...

Overall, I think this guy is a big liar who thinks he can get away with whatever he wants....I really couldn't care less about his personal life....this isn't about sex...it's about the integrity of his character which I feel is seriously lacking...

I found this article from The Star today to be interesting...

We dont know the arrangement he had with his supposed girlfriend...maybe they had an open relationship?

I think cheating on your wife is significantly more distressing...but that's just me
