What to Bring | Dress Code

| First time to WMC here, so trying to decide what to bring...do the clubs have dress codes, and does it vary from one to the other? American Airlines now charges $25 for each checked bag one-way, so I'm either going to travel very light or pack that motherf***er up to 49.9lbs so it's worth it! I should probably bring a pair of sneakers since my club shoes don't go with shorts, flip flops, a couple of dress shirts if there are dress codes...I think my carry-on (hand baggage for those in Europe) is already full... :eek: |

Dont stress out !
Just check Space,set,Bed videos and get an Idea
If it happend You dont have what is required just get something on Armani store here in Sobe !
Just dont wear snekers/trainers to SET is the hardest to get in ! the rest are very Casual dress to impress code !!
But I hear most of the clubs brake the rules on dress code specially if You hitting Space or Cameo after ULTRA !! :toocool: |

I plan on wearing short sleeves, shorts, and white tennis shoes the whole time, except swim wear and flip flops at the pool parties.
Yeah I am in the same process, pack light or bring a checked bag, using AA's also.
I think you can bring one carry on and then another small personal item on, so I think between those two I can fill up with clothes and the rest I can buy there in small amounts. |

A night club will not let you in with shorts. Nice jeans & at least black sneakers if anything. They might turn u away if you were white sneakers. Just a heads up too cuz if they do it will be a longer wait to get inside.

what about girls wearing sneakers? I can't imagine having to wear my heels the whole time. I wanna dance!
My guess is it will vary depending on the club/party. If there is an experienced female wmc'er that can give me a rough idea that would be great :) |

| cool thanks I better toss in some jeans then, black shoes I think I need to buy some of them then. I do have dress shoes but dancing in them make my feet hurt. I will buy some causal black sneakers then. |

Like I said guys might be able to get away with a nice looking pair of white sneakers. Black no doubt you will be fine.
Ladies should not have an issue getting in with sneakers. Ladies can obviously get away with alot more especially if they are hot.
Guys just dress comfortable & you will be fine.

I've worn white sneakers everywhere except Set. I won't even try to test the bouncers to see if they let me in.
I never had a problem with Space letting me in with sneakers, and Mansion was also pretty lax during WMC. And when I mean white sneakers I'm talking about Puma or any of the European designers. You're testing your luck if you try to go in with Air Force One, high tops, cross trainers, etc. |

i know for all the made event parties up here in nyc
there is never any dresscode really, except for no shorts
but white sneakers,t-shirt and jeans works fine
i hope they honor it down in miami |

women's dress code is a bit different as manny said, most anything is okay :)
don, for the most part what you wear to clubs here in LA you can wear there during WMC but maybe dress a bit nicer if you're going to mansion or any other club on south beach at night. clubs in downtown are more lax and of course the day parties are obviously bathing suits and flip flops.
also depends on what parties you're going to. don, i know you'll be going to mostly trance shows and they might tend to be a bit more dressy. i go to mostly dirty techno parties at places like electric pickle and clubs like that so there is definitely a difference on dress code.
as for the shoe choices for women...i feel you on wearing heels, after being at a party for 6 plus hours your feet just want to die. i have found after partying at WMC for the last 5 years, wedges are the best compromise for dressing up cute. but i also bring my converse for some other parties and even flip flops. by the end of the week i just want to be comfortable. |
