I hear this sentiment; the crowd was a bit...odd...but if that age limit had been there, I wouldn't have! :tongue2
you know I'm a young'un so this was the first time I've seen Ferry because I managed to miss him both times last year, but I was absolutely blown out of my seat... Ferry is one of the artists who made me a trance fan when I was 14, this was a dream come true, and his set was perfect. I've also had "Beautiful" stuck very, VERY firmly in my head since I left the place.
Coat check was asstastic for everyone who came after 11; I really do feel for you all. The line was short at 10:30 when I got there but as I kept meeting up with people and talking to them (because honestly, Dahlback's set didn't really start to pick up for me until ~12:15 or so), I ended up waiting in that coat check line along with you all and it sucked.
I also never have kind words for the security who are asses about people with lights...I know there are mixed opinions about them & the stereotypes that go with them, but if we managed to get them through, no one's getting hurt and people are just having a good time, why raise hell? We're not raising clouds of kandi kids. It's a way to dance. Events by Made are pretty strictly anti-lights, but it's often the case that if you could get them in, waited until later in the night, & were discreet, you were fine. People got kicked out this time.
I got one pair of glowsticks in (out of 3), used it for "We Belong (Tritonal's Air Up There Remix)", the track I was waiting to hear. The sudden aqua-colored glow out there was me. :haha: A few of my friends out there weren't so lucky and got their sticks taken after less than a minute. Ferry definitely smiled to see the glows explode on his drops, though.
but I really don't have words for how amazing that was. The TA shoutout was priceless, haha! I have video of that + many many other things so I'll upload them later. Thanks to all the TAs I met for the first time for making my time fabulous, I love you all!

All I've got to say right now (full review later )is that those of you who decided not to Go to the justice afterparty at Webster hall were wise - when we got there we were informed no one else was allowed entry to the venue. This was literally a minute after our friends inside had texted us to tell us justice had just gotten on. -_-

I missed getting footage of Brainbox (Marlo Remix!!) and I think I heard Ligaya too, which I'm going to regret for a while! (are both of those missing from the tracklisting on page 1?)
My camera's 4 years old, so apologies for the gritty quality. But here are most of the floor-destroyers---
TA SHOUTOUT IN HERE! :D

I thought the venue was cool but they had to tweak the details (nothing that hasn't already been said) security was being real dickish though. I watched them harass multiple people who dancing and giving eachother massages, granted they were definitely messed up but they weren't about to hurt themselves or others. I watched another person get searched and they took his photons, he wasn't even using them and hadn't been using them. That just seems wrong, to harass individuals. Do you job, but don't harass.
IMO It seems that Nokia has opened up their concerts to wider amt of shows (disco biscuts played there recently) and the staff is trying to set the bar for how strict they will be. I hope they relax in the upcoming shows.
Ferry was great, had a great time...once again I have nothing to add that hasn't already been said. :(
euphoria
Pro's:
Nice venue, very clean
The music was great
Went mainly to see Ferry but enjoyed John's set as well
Temperature control, wasn't too hot or too cold
Drinks were strong
Con's:
Sound could have been better.
There could have been lasers instead of the seizure inducing flashes.
Btw, coatcheck was not mandatory. I kept mine so I could go out for smoke breaks. It was easy to stash in the seating area.

Amazing time! The venue was killer too, minus the four dollar mini waters and absurdly small $11 redbull vodkas.
Im not sure what bar u went to, my water was 3$ and at one point we got 4 mixed drinks for 24$ :wtf: :conf:
