im sure a lot of people relived some memories listening to these mixes.i remember when each of these tunes came out like it was yesterday.i had a young mother who loved music and MTV was THE new thing and it was on in my house CONSTANTLY.
listening to and being exposed to all varietys of music is what shaped my musical tastes to this day.i never understand how people can pigeon hole themselves into just liking one type of music when theres so much out there!!!
i understand not liking some genres but to just be a rap guy,or a new wave guy,or a metal guy,ive never understood that.thats why i love 80's music.the 80's music crossed over races!it crossed over genders!
you could be black and listen to huey lewis and the news!you could be white and listen to billy ocean!that doesent happen much anymore from what ive seen.music has gone back to being to segregated.LIVE A LITTLE PEOPLE!!!THERES A HOLE WORLD OF MUSIC OUT THERE!!! |
