For me it's a matter of necessity. I just can't recover like I used to. I've never been much of a drinker during the day, but I went through a lot of years drinking 4-5 nights a week. It used to be soo easy.
Now, though, if I drink all night at a club, chances are the next night isn't going to be as much fun, and then the night after that is gonna suck. This is especially daunting when there are day parties to get to. I've all but stopped drinking over the last 6 months to avoid such things.
So some drinks before the club(not light ones, mind you) hold me over, for the most part, and the music does the rest. A drink or two throughout the night helps out, too, but just not throwing 'em back one after another, especially when they are $15 a piece.*
*My plan of attack seems to falter when an open-bar boat cruise is attended. |

| Hi everyone, well i'm a local here in Miami. Just looking for others to party with since I go alone and get out of work late. was sure there was a thread but can't find it. anyways which would be the best way to meetup with some of you at the parties...probably doing trance events at night. could offer rides to your place if some have issues with that. laters! |

it depends where you're partying! i believe there is a meet-up for dinner the first tuesday night before markus' bienvenido a miami party.

I usually arrive around 1 or later. I'm sure I saw some of you last year at Anjuna but we didn't know it. Anyways when Martin started spinning last year I just passed out on a sofa and no one bothered me. I was drunk and thank god they don't bother you like at Space to wake up or get out.

First WMC for me also, travelling over (21st-29th) solo from England to meet people and party. I'm staying on South Beach.
