Hmmm, maybe they are released here. Called the Gillette Fusion? I always thought that was the battery powered one, so I never gave it a second look. I'll check it out on Saturday when I do my shopping.

i use cheap non-reusable Gillette razors (the most basic ones). and i use each one over a month before i replace it with the next one :D

Razor. Shaving has never hurt really either... I like my skin to be really smooth. Gives good contrast to the beard line which is important if you do not want to look scraggly.

Razors are easier to cut with

I started off with a Razor but I bought a kick ass electric one a bit more than a year ago. While it's convenient to not have to lather up, it probably still takes more time to shave than with a razor or at least the same.
I have no grain on my neck and because it runs almost all the way down (a deep hair line), it takes ing FOREVER to shave with an electric.

Plus I like the feel of a blade, it's so much smoother and I seem to get less of those annoying tiny pimples if I use a razor.

So yea, I do both depending on how I feel.
I'll tell you one thing though, anything more than 3 blades is a piece of . Quattro, Mach5, ing whatever. They are all rubbish. The blades are thin, they are too close together and they cost more for no real gain. that, give me a Mach3 any day.

I tried the Quattro when it first came out, but didn't like it at all. My facial hair grows really thick, and it just kept getting clogged and not cutting properly. Went back the the Mach 3.

Exactly, that's my main gripe with it. I have a proper mans beard, not this wanker metro "hair every 5mm" crap :stongue:

I have a friend (same age as me) who only has to shave once a week, and even on the last day of his shave routine, you can still barely see the stuble.

I give him loads of crap about it, but I have to admit that I'm [not so] secretly jealous. Shaving ing sucks, lol.

I can go about a week too, and its not really so much for lack of hair growth, its that my mustache and most of my other facial hair is platinum blond/clear. You can actually see an odd shine on it in bright light at the right angle sometimes if I haven't shaved in a while. :p

Amen :(

If I had $500 to blow every 6 months, I would get laser surgery done. Meant to keep it from growing for 3-6 months, though I'm not sure of the long term effects on your skin.
Shaving is a pain in the ass but look at it this way, at least we don't need to shave our legs....yet :nervous:
