I just got emerge (Dave Clarke Remix) in the mail today, and it's the worst ing piece of ever! It is definately not the mix from this set.

Does anyone know the what the correct remix of the fischerspooner - emerge in this set? I myself really liked this mix of the track and would like to give proper credit where credit is due. Sorry nuclear that you had to waste money on a POS mix, you should sue those crazy germans who originally posted the wrong mix and make PvD send you an autographed copy of the exact record he spun that night:whip: :haha: :haha:
Magik
This is one of the best mixes I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot of great sets, PVD is incredible.
I don't have a full version of this, can someone tell me where I can get this and some of the singles from the set... Please PM

It is seriously that bad. It's cheesy breaks, and it's like DC took all the worst part of Emerge and put them together for 7 minutes. I hate the person who ID'd this wrong and made me buy this horrible excuse for a record.

I think you should kill yourself for bad mouthing the best techno dj in the world and a great producer to boot.
your bandwagonning ass shouldn't be buying techno records anyway; yes I do like the bootleg that PVD played better myself, but Dave Clarke's remix is just cool! and different, far from "cheesy" and far from "", and he's been playing it for months

oh btw it was on the 12/13th, depending which way you look at it. That set is taken early on the morning of Sat 13th, but definitely not 14th, that's when the after-parties started - I'm not sure where PvD was then.

Dude I wasn't really serious when I said that. :) Actually, I like the DC remix up to the point where it has that awful screaming that just sounds plain out BAD. Aside from that, the remix was really uncreative and didn't really offer anything new. It was mostly all ripped from the original track...

Don't take life too seriously!

your tone and smilies made the post very serious; perhaps you should put one of these ":D" to make your intent more clear

however, I still disagree; I think it's an excellent track; I don't have beef with the scream, and I think using the female vocals added something to the song; but the song has the Dave Clarke style, and if you don't like the style it's hard to appreciate the song, coming from a trance background.
DJ Nuclear
on the contrary, I did like Midfield General - Coatnoise (Dave Clarke Mix)
