Is that the only speed available over there? Because everyone I know from there has EITHER that or crappy 56K or ISDN modem connections... I like to know how much you pay for it (if u have the 100 Mbit)... Because that's FAST! Is this kind of connection availble in USA? Do ADSL and Cable connections exist over there? If not, why? I want some info on EU's Internet connections, etc...
THANKS! |

| people who have 100 Mbs are the ones living in Universities dorms... its like in the US or Canada... In general people in Europe have more difficulties getting high speed internet and at higher cost than in North America. |

| Here in Lithuania (if you know where it's located:)) DSL, which I have (256kbps download/64kbps upload, no limit of downloaded information), cost 60$/month. It's the most optimal variant for ordinary people. |

In Canada you can get DSL 1300Kbps/160kbps for as low as 20$ US a month, no limits :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D but lots of companies are starting to implement stupid limits here and there...:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |

Ireland is the best country for broadband in the world.
56k - charged per minute.
ISDN - charged per minute + ridiculous rental.
No flat rate Internet service available.
About 20 people have cable in the country.
ADSL isnt out yet, price €270 per month for 1mbit down, 256kbit up.
Thats it. :( |
