Dj furee,no it's not your nationallity that is froming my opinion,I azm not a racist,i ven ehave got Turkish friends,they now my opinion about that team,and when they win,we don't speak for weeks to each other !:D LOL
But it's their style i don't like,And it has nothing to do with the counrty neithere cause I also hate Leeds for their butcher-football,it's just durty how they tackle ,andc they always make a big deal when they got tackled,tha's my opinion,peace |

Dude u still make no sense... Tackling is part of the game, I agree I dun like very aggressive football either (altho I dun like sissies like Figo) but I dun see Galatasaray like that... and saying that if they win it's the downfall of european football???? ok whatever that's a bit extreme... I think it would be something special if we win, cuz it'll open the eyes of peepz who think football's centred only in certain countries... but hey we'll see what happens tomorow, Real's a very good team no doubt.. but us, like Leeds have potential also...

| I'm very sorry Furee, but I'm with Cyberia on this one. Galatasaray simply playes butcher football. I truely and deeply hate Hagi with his stupid nagging all the time. And every match Galatasaray plays looks boring. No sensation, techniques or tactics at all. The only thing that got them winning a few games is the passion they play with (wich is important too of course, but horrible to see). I believe someone said this before, (but I don't remember whom): watching a Galatasaray game is like looking to a car accident. I simply won't do it. I respect the way they put Turky on the world's "football map," but that'll be it. |

Maybe Galatasaray plays a bit agressive , but trust me , Turkey has finally something to be proud of , Galatasaray is Turkey's image , that's why their players do the best to win every continental game.
By the way do u know some Moroccan football players ? I'm sure u've heard of Mustafa Hadji 1998's african golden ball , Nordin Naybet probably the best defender in the world , and El Khettabi the 3rd top striker in the dutch leage.

yeah, same with Holland, everyone knows that they are the best team, they beated France on Euro2000, which the France had won.
They only had like one bad match, that was against Italy, lost with penalty's, just like always. But I warn you guys, the World Cup 2002 will be won by Holland, for Sure.

True, Galatasaray is a Turkish club, the players that may make it rough could be the romanians or the brazilian, but never to worry, who says English football is so clean? i mean, where have u seen a player bash a spectaotor or a player push a referee over?? Ok Hagi winges alot, but hey, sometimes it works! its his tactic! and also, which player nowadays doesnt roll a few hundred times more than he should?? By the way the topic is who's going to win the Champions League?? and i said it once, ill say it again! GS all the way, WOW not long left till the game now!

You're a weird optimist Blik. I'm praying that Holland can even attend the World Cup 2002. The way they play now isn't good at all. Of course there are a lot of injuries (Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Ronald de Boer, Arthur Numan, Boudewijn Zenden, Ruud van Nistelrooy and there are more!!!)
but a football nation like Holland should even then be able to qualify theirselves. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Holland won't make it this time. That would be a shame though... watching a World Cup without the national team isn't fun. |
