There are cold, warm, and room temperature sakes. So "correct" is subjective to the type of sake you are drinking. ;)

Cool I will ask my buddy. He lives in Tokyo, and I will be staying with him. Hopefully he will know some good things to do there. |

I know ;) The point is that most American's drink it all at the same temperature all the time, not changing it at all depending on the type or the season or anything. |

Could you a be a bit more vague :p
How long are you here for? Got the JR pass? I recommend Kyushu and its prefectures.
Sooo many, things, I don't know where to begin, esepcially as you haven't even said where you're going. |
