Stu, speaking of the amazing tracks, do you need a tissue? :p |
Haha! You knew very well that I'd love this mix :p
And I did.
Such good tunes, I always get reminiscent when I listen to stuff like this.
Flow was pretty good, but The Chain ---> Twilo Thunder was a bit rough. Maybe not 'rough' but it didn't feel quite right. It's hard to complain though, since I love both the tracks so much. Never really liked that remix of The Chain though, even though it's only the end-ish part that was changed. It always felt a bit too chopped up for me.
Great work though. It always makes me happy to see that there's an appreciation for this kind of older stuff out there.
Keep 'em coming :) |

Enjoyed this.
Yes, a little raw round the edges but it adds to the mix's character.
Mixed on vinyl??
You are still an arse btw, but fair play to you for the inclusion of some nice tracks. |

Mr. Von Xanthen, I enjoyed this mix quite a bit. Admittedly I was working out to it, and while it had me going pretty strong at the gym, I didn't pay much attention to the little intricacies in the mixing of the tracks. I did notice one or two slightly rough transitions as some have mentioned, but I'm not complaining, and for the most part the mixing and the flow seemed quite smooth. I liked the music a lot, really nice progressive house that got pretty full-on towards the end. I enjoyed the melodies and there was plenty of groove to keep me happy. I think I'll load some of your other mixes on my MP3 player as well to take to the gym with me.
p.s. perhaps you would like to check out my last mix. Not necessarily because I'm looking for more listens/feedback (although that's always nice), but because it's probably my proggiest one to date and I think you would enjoy it quite a bit. It's this one: (not technically my newest, actually) - http://soundcloud.com/adam-solomon/...-tech-house-mix
I hope that you will enjoy it. |

Meh, I feel you on that one. I think the mix might have been a bit better if I was a better DJ :p and also if the ending of The Chain wasn't so messed up. But the second one is probably just an excuse lol.
Glad you liked it. I'll never stop loving this older stuff :)
Working on a few things at the moment, though not sure when I'll have another mix out for you to download. Hopefully get that epic trance one soon :p
As always Stu, thanks for listening :) |

Very glad to hear it Adam. Yeah, I'd say the back to back Breeder tracks were pretty full on haha. But really, this mix was all the tracks. A bunch of just absolutely beautiful stuff :)
I've given it a download, look forward to hearing it and letting you know what I think. I'm sure I will :) |
