Twilo Nights: Tribute To Sasha [Progressive Trance] (pg. 3)

Good tracks, though lots of obvious names. It's a tribute mix, so you can get away with that but some small surprises here and there would've been nice. Mixing is a bit rough as mentioned before. Overall very enjoyable.

ps. never heard what you thought of my Shadows mix, was it different from what you expected it to be?

That's the great thing about a tribute mix! Haha, but yeah. I do know there are a ton of obvious names and the mixing is a tad rough, but I still found it very enjoyable and I'm very, very glad to hear that you did as well.

Give me a day or two and I'll try to pm you or bump the thread for your Shadow mix with my thoughts about it. I've had a bit of a computer melt down the last while and am just now sorting out finding where some files are, so I'm afraid I haven't had a chance to hear the whole thing. Loved the first three songs though, so I have high hopes for the rest.

Again, thanks a ton for checking out my mix and giving it a listen. Very glad you enjoyed it :)

Giving this a little bump.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded and given this a listen :) Hope you're all enjoying it!

Instantly grabbed me at the start with Solina... I always knew the song as "Escape - Salina" from the Bedrock album, it's such a lovely little track. From there, you do a great job with the flow of the set, the songs build off from one another, and the mixing is good (barring some hiccups in the transition from Feel High to One).

But the main problem I have is, I know it's a tribute mix, but it seemed to lack a bit of a personal touch. Nearly every song on there was from the classic Sasha comps, perhaps a few more surprises would have been nice. Still I loved it, the songs really speak for themselves and its a shame you don't see too much in the way of music like this anymore.

Great mix except the Breeder tracks. These Breeder tracks are way overrated and totally awful.

Otherwise great mix!

It really is such a beautiful song. The melody, the grooving bassline. I love it.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm really trying to work on my programming skills, and glad to hear you liked it :) It really, really is a huge shame. Hopefully it will return. I know I'll never stop playing it :)

And yeah.. I seem to really suck at that part. I know Jack and others have commented that my mixes always seem to have really obvious songs or a personal touch. Meh. Another thing I need to work on. It's definitely true. I do have problems with that, though I (and, happily, others) still enjoy these a lot.

Thanks for giving it a listen :)

Haha. How can you hate on Breeder? I love those tracks!

Still, glad you checked it out even with them :p

And very glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

Listening now, have not listened to any of Sasha's twilo era style tracks. Sounds cool.

I don't really listen to much of this stuff, but I've been getting into it alot recently...and I listened to this mix a couple times. So many good tracks in here, I'm gonna have to check out more of your sets.
Lews
Thanks for the kind words guys :)

Yeah, the more I listen to this, the more it grows on me. Just so many beautiful tracks.

Once I get some new head phones, hopefully today?, I want to put together a new set.

Seppuku, let me know if you enjoy the other sets :)
