| as Capitalizt said... people respond to posts on subjects that interest them or on posts that interest them in their own right. I would suggest that if you identify your areas of interest as being rather divergent from the general population's then that is probably why you don't get many responses here. Additionally, from what I can recall about your posts you always seem to be very respectful and measured; often to the point that you will only express (what I presume) is a muted version of your position. If you wish to engage in the larger conversation then don't water down your comments... if what you say is agreeable to everyone and provocative to no one then there is little motivation for anyone to engage you further. |

No, it's a mild form of autism that makes it difficult for people to handle social situations and communicate with others. A lot of people probably have it without realising, they just have to struggle to learn social interactions that come naturally to most of us. |

| One of the personal support workers at my work has Asperger's, and I didn't know at first. I couldn't understand why she was so ing tedious. Then I found out and it all made sense. I wish I had known from the start...I thought she was just annoying. |
