love the kick man, so blunt!

I'd say bring out the bass more, but not soo much so it becomes slappy, know what i mean? plucks are awesome!

Agreed again

The bassline was roughly put in the other night on cans so is just an outline at the moment. There's a beefy sub in there but it's in the wrong place still.

I'm considering lowering the level of the main bassline, finding the sweetspot with the cutoff, adding a bit of distortion and then compressing the crap out of it.

I consider plucks to be my signature sound ;)

Early vocal version up

http://soundcloud.com/bluffmunkey/released-demo-2

The track has turned out to be a few tones too high overall so some of the vocal takes are a bit higher than i'd like, but i'm happy to work with it this time.

First time I've ever recorded vocals too so it's definately a steep upwards slope. This is the result of about 10 takes per short phrase with the best of spliced together.

the vocals are obviously heavily effected but I might dry them up a bit for the final mix.

We'll most likely re-recrd some of them as well.

fun this! :D

Bump up again.

After listening to mostly positive feedback about the first stab at vocals we'll most likley re-record some of the higher parts again using a different and slightly lower melody.

I was on it a few good times and like it even more every time I'm listening this track - some serious effort my friend.

Well done so far G.

Cheers
