flu bug: it's the last day of winter.. how did you fare?

Today is the last day of winter. Every year I always seem to get the flu.. usually it's from lack of sleep after partying and typically following some workouts in the gym earlier in the week - bad recipe for breaking down the body with poor recovery and thus making it prone to illness. Of course having close proximity to people at work (and public transit at times) doesn't help.
This year, no flu. We have Purell dispensers on every floor at my work, I did the hand-washing thing a bit more, took vitamin supplements more religiously and held back from workouts a bit if I had a previous weekend bender. Plus, this winter has been very mild.
I'm not sure if all of these variables contributed but I kinda think they did. How did you guys fare?
For the record, no flu or H1N1 shot this year :p |

This was my healthiest winter ever! :)
I always get bronchitus - and didnt :)
I had a couple quick colds, a 24 hour bug...
But overall stayed pretty healthy
And no flu shot :D |

LOL maybe but more likely just a huge windfall for both drug companies and government officials receiving massive kick backs. |

Same! Except I got both shots and any hint of a cold I popped some Cold FX |

The regular flu never showed up this year.
Apparently it happens once every 10 years or so. According to a news report I saw a couple of weeks ago there hadn't been a single death from the regular flu. |

So can we finally fairly assess then that the flu shot was indeed a scam?
H1N1 has gone the way of Y2K and several Simpsons episodes. From this point forward we shall never speak of it ever again! LOL |
