some of those shots from Get Lost are epic. Definitely desktop wallpaper worthy.

they were all accidental photos .. i think thats my favorite part.

i have some insane videos from that party as well.
we turned on my camera, set it to record and just forgot about it. so its nauseating at times but there are some great tunes, hilarious antics and pure brilliance. i'll have to chop it up as its over an hour long .. i'll post it asap ;)

The music that was played on the outside stage was fun and light hearted mostly all day. It wasn't by any means super serious.

Blurry David Guetta was jamming in the booth with Joris, Nic, Josh Wink, and the million other DJs that were there that night...

Tiesto was taking lessons from Joris...

Josh Wink, Nic, Joris, Matthias Tanzmann, and Steve Bug

Yeah, add in a bit of Dijon...

And voila, you have a rockin' night at shine!

I found the Ovum night at Shine to be a rather big disappointment (which could be a result of expectations that may have been a bit too high). Squillace vs. D'Julz were good but everyone else was less than stellar. Shine also is not the greatest of clubs. The sound in there is quite bad as well. I have a real tough time getting into club nights these days if the club doesn't have good sound. I would say well over 50% of my love for music comes directly from my love for sound in general.

I really like Shine as a club, but the sound leaves a lot to be desired. I was also kind of disappointed by the music that night, but my expectations where also very high (and rightfully so considering the line-up). I had a good night nonetheless. ;)

After reflecting for a while I'd have to agree with this. You could barely hear any of the mids/highs. Although, even if I could have, I'm not sure I would have enjoyed the music that much more.
In the end, there was so much good music all week that I can just forget about this party and remember the good times.

I don't know what kind of deep house parties you guys went to but I am hearing from a bunch of people this was the deep house tune of the fest (echoed by the youtube comments I guess)

Beautiful tune.

Yup! That's a beautiful tune for sure! Didn't get to hear it, but wish I did.
