Are there any TA's coming down to South Africa for the world cup in June? Consider me the boards unofficial adviser for any SA related queries ;) Here are some FAQ's already answered: SA tourism questions.
I can also post a gig guide for the major metros closer to the time if wanted. |

Since I lived in Cape Town for a while I would have really, really loved to come down, but there's no way I can make it :(

| I don't think our reputation is that bad any more. There hasn't been too much violence since france 1998. The Polish crated most the problems at the last world cup. |

most european soccer fans are pathetic when it comes to rivalries

That whole qualifying group was a "Who's worse" contest. I'm glad we didn't make it either. |
