what an amazing 2nd day of ASOT. great sets by Lange, Giuseppe, John O, and even Armin's set was on point.
BUT, what was up with the sound system???????? This was probably the worst i've ever seen. very dissapointing.

Wow that's awesome!
And say what you want about Armin but he seems like a pretty cool guy. He doesn't have to do any of this .

woah, you were there too. I didnt even know you were still around. I was just going through the collection of PVD flyers you gave me years ago and I was like I wonder what ever happened to him.
Anyhow, there was no lasers for pvd on new years at roseland either.
Were you there on Sat too? Yeah man, I'm still around. :)

Very very very nice guy... Never formally met him til Friday, and I realized that he really truly LOVES the music. He didn't have one glass of champagne backstage; he was literally listening to the sets, and talking with people on the ASOT chat... He and the ASOT/Armada crew reminded me of me and my friends if we were in a similar place, just shooting the , and listening to the music. He's a classy and nice guy on and off the microphone...

It's fun, but there's a big downside unfortunately (between me and you, the TA family)... I can't really go to any events anymore and have fun, always got someone taking pictures and wanting to talk production or pitch me their business plan. I don't know how the bigger guys do it (maybe they don't, which is why we rarely see them around after or before their gigs in the general admission area, which is a shame)...
Luckily, I was hanging in the side bar to the left of the stage where all the friendly Trance Addict people were and my friends were hanging out. It was a completely different crowd, and in no way do I mind hanging out with all of you fine TA people, I enjoy it. Other people just have no qualms or second-thoughts about literally ripping me away from my friends or my girlfriends to talk for 10, sometimes 15 minutes. It comes with the territory I guess!! Took me no less than 25 minutes to walk to the exit from the side-bar on Saturday haha...
I do love seeing the Love regulars and Trance Addicts though, you're all very nice and usually somewhat coherent, and keep me grounded. I like the type of person that can tell me that my set at Love wasn't as good as last time, or chill out and have a drank!! I'm not the type of person that enjoys "fame", I guess...

I 1000% feel you on this. There are a LOT of people out there who love the fame, but I would never be one of them. We love our space, our friends, our privacy and our free time. It would be tough to think that I had to be "professional" everytime a fan approached, because it seems impossible to want to be engaging and interested ALL of the time.
I am sure you will adjust to your "fame" and have some amazing new adventures ahead of you. And, if you ever need, I am sure that us TA peeps wont mind building a barricade of people and booze around you if you need a quick escape LOLOL :)
I would say that a plus side is all the hot women, but you already have a nice girl with big boobs ;) ;) :stongue: :stongue:

oh lord, thank you so much, Z. It turns out the tracklist I was using had a lot of mistaken IDs. ughhhhhhhh it's Bart Claessen - Hartseer, and it's a fantaaastic track. <3
@ Marcello, and everyone replying: I'm starting to feel this really keenly. I'm not going to prattle on about it because your star is flying incredibly high & I know we all support you sincerely here and aren't members of the flock-of-tools trying to capitalize on it. But man, when people who wouldn't give me the time of day beforehand are now all "oh heeeeey, ASOT 2010!" to me...then I can only imagine how ridiculous it's getting for you. Just no.
btw, thanks for the interview shout-out. ;) Hugs. <3

lol, guys! I wish I had known about the upstairs bathroom-- I would've appreciated not having to fish through people to find my way! :stongue: have pity for me, I'm still a relative newbie, only not-quite-2-years...
