Great review. Glad you had fun, and even more glad that SOMEONE stayed until the end. Good job. ;)

Bal en Blanc really is something every partier in Canada should experience at least once.

I'm not surprised you didn't like Morales. Knowing the kind of music you hate, I don't think liking a Morales set is possible for you lol (he plays LOTS of diva vocals).

Also, Montreal parties are definitely as sketchy as Toronto parties. You must have been wearing dark sunglasses. :p

Oh, and.. finally figured out which song set me off during Markus' set, 'Forget about Us (Barnes & Heatcliff Remix)' that song is absolutely ing rediculous. I was fist pumping like a maniac, the bassline is so ing heavyyyyy!

I don't think anyone said his set sucked, I just thought it was cheesy and fluffy.

Montreal likes hard dirty trance.

I love the MTL peeps, however they usually have a particular style that they like and stick to it! :) LOL my reviews are almost ALWAYS the total opposite of what they like in the trance department (but, similar in other genres).

very well, some thoughts as i remember them:

We arrived at the room around 2pm after Oz had been asleep approx 1hr. Jay was getting ready to leave and shouted at Oz to get up before he 'punched him in the '. Oz rolled out of bed onto the floor and bounced off the wall with a cry of "bonjourno!" where he lay for a few minutes.

Gradually he got to his feet (a temporary state for the first 15 minutes) and sauntered into the living room of the junior suite. mumuring random sentiments, mostly indecipherable as one speaking in tongues, he began inching back and forth between the lamp and the TV table.

Vince texted Jay:

"How's Oz doing LOL"

as he then proceeded to fall through the standing lamp and into AMK. he arose slowly.

back up with his thumbs in his belt loops, his little feet were stepping back and forth and side to side like a linedancer. for some reason he was sure his bag needed to be ready to pass through customs so after trying in vain to establish where he thought he was it was decided it was easier just to with him for our amusement by convincing him he was going back home to kentucky.

attempting to pick some items from the coffee table he bent forward only to stumble backwards, spin around and headbutt the plasma screen TV. collapsing to the couch he was eventually resurrected to put on his socks (located in the bathroom) and leave.

heading down to the concierge to check-out he did an excellent job of confusing the situation for the poor girl working the afternoon shift and was forcibly removed from the front desk by Jay to allow the transaction to be completed.

as we headed down to the ATM for jay to pickup cash we managed to convince a bewildered Oz that he hadn't seen Sied play, instead Above and Beyond and Yoji had been added to the bill and we were going back to catch the end of his set and say goodbye to Sied which he acknowledged was important for him to do.

insisting on returning to the room for his vaseline we assured him he had already used the whole bottle and now was his time to go, bid farewell and he departed with Jay.

Oz's exact words just before leaving were:

"i'm actually a bit confused as to what's going on right now"

BEB sounds like it was a complete show, ESPECIALLY for Oz. LMAO!!! Drinking yourself into another dimension is always fun, good job buddy. I'm also loving all the Ferry reviews. When it comes to trance, Ferry is god IMO. And that BOOMBOX!!! wow, it HAS to come to Guv....like now.

Glad you all had an amazing time. I wish I had partying stamina, so I could actually made it to this one of these years :( Very jealous.
