This is really interesting stuff. Could be ground breaking technology for quadriplegics and many other types of disabilities.

MIND-READING may no longer be the domain of psychics and fortune tellers - now some computers can do it.
Intel showcased some of its technological innovations yesterday in Manhattan.
Among the still-under-development projects was software that uses brain scans to determine what items people are thinking about.
The software analyses functional MRI scans to determine what parts of a person's brain is being activated as he or she thinks.
Intel Labs researcher Dean Pomerleau says that in tests, it guessed with 90 per cent accuracy which of two words a person was thinking about.
The technology could eventually help the severely physically disabled to communicate.
Mr Pomerleau also sees it as an early step toward being able to control technology with our minds. |

Quadriplegics comprise what percentage of the human population?
Obviously the companies who develop mind reading software are not going to put their muscle behind that fractional market. There's really no such thing as a philanthropic corporation.

Just another step towards Evangelions! :D
Now we just need it to be done via liquid control link fluid that has the same basic properties of the primordial soup or the prenatal fluid of our mothers... :wtf: |

what exactly am I scared of? I fear nothing. Not even you and your "friends" blatant ignorance and deceiftul natures, which is quite dangerous, cancerous, toxic to society. |
