so what you're saying that is he never placed the thread here then the 25 TAs who did go wouldn't have known of it, wouldn't have had a good time, and whouldn't have gotten in for free.
Only person that gets screwed if you guys didn't save the party is Luxy, mike gets booking fees in advance, he still would have got paid if you showed up or not. The thread was posted here to *invite* you, not beg for you to come and *save* the event. Mike would have played if you guys showed up or not. And I start calling out out when you start using the TAs as your own little personal gang to back up you ty attitude.
You're here bitching that you almost wasted your time? Are you serious? Oh, poor you, you had to talk to a manager and get delayed for some inconsequential amount of time. Maybe if you went all the way to Vaugh and DIDN'T get in, then you'd have something to bitch about. You're sitting here crying that you had to talk to someone. Oh my god, physical interaction.
I'm pretty sure that if I almost wasted my time, but in the end didn't waste my time and had to deal with a minor inconvinience that I wouldn't come here and post slander towards someone that a) didn't have anything to do with your problem and was just passing on what was told to him, and b) invited you to go see mike push for FREE when it didn't matter to him either way if you or the rest of the TAs showed up. Why don't you try saying thank you instead of being a whiney little bitch. |

DJ Danny Douchebag was a total buzzkill, that's for sure. Didn't he try to produce a trance like track a while back, yet he totally disrespects MIKE? man...
Oh well, I made sure to let MIKE know several times in my drunken stupor that he's a living trance legend. All in all, wasn't the best event of 2010, but I was still pretty damn pleased given we got in for free and got to hear strange world to close the night.
Thanks to Invalyd for hooking up the guest list or else I probably wouldn't have come.

I would say emailing him to tell him he's a douche for not letting MIKE on the decks on time would be a bit harsh. I can't tell you how many events I've gone to where the opener goes on for an extra hour (or two!). It's ty, but it happens. At least MIKE came on right? Why does this always seems to happen when the opening DJ is utter too? lol |

| sometimes there are other reasons that delay the headliner's set which forces the opener to play for longer. i wouldnt go as far as calling the guy a douche when nobody knows the true story. everyone seems to be jumping to conclusions. |

A valid point, but I could definitely imagine Danny D pushing to extend his own set.
Maybe the club influenced him, since, as someone else said, they'd want people to stay and buy drinks till 2.
Either way, he's a douche.
But yes, I'm captain jump-to-conclusions.
Anyone else amused by how perplexed the crowd became when MIKE started spinning? They were so confused.. lol |

i still think the venue was a horrible choice for this booking. we all know what type of crowd that venue holds and its definitely not the type for Mike Push. that place would work amazing for DJ Pauly D though. |

I personally couldn't make it to this one, but i was really sorry to read on this thread about what went down that night... poor mike! He deserves way better.... I'm glad though that the TAs still managed to have lots of fun and enjoyed mike's set! hopefully i'll catch him next time he's in town! |

Ive been to luxy before so I knew exactly what to expect and made the best of it.
I liked MIKE's set, but wanted to hear more classics. Great times anyways, nice seeing all of you. cheers |
