That was prolly after my time at CEGEP de St-Laurent. There used to be a 4-Seasons greasy spoon just like DHD but cleaner. Hit the spot with the few remaining quarters not spent at Fonzie's. |

For sushi I'd have to recommend Tokyo Sushi. I've read that people have had bad experiences there but I've eaten in that restaurant on 7 or 8 occasions and have always left very happy! 181 menu items and most of them are really good, that's hard to beat!

DHD is good . My bus from work lets me off there and my collegue always tries to get me to go there with I'm (I introduced him to the place) but ffs food like that just scares me now :nervous:
I have to be really drunk or high to eat it. |

| For sandwiches...a small place on the corner of St Denis & Christin (between St Cath & Rene Levesque) called Pagode. Delicious, cheap and fast. |

| Best Burger in Montreal: La Paryse on Ontario corner St-Dennis. Fantastic gourmet burgers, there's always a line up.. doesn't help that the resto sits about 8 people. MUST HAVE.. |

Breakfast: Bagels Etc. Even Leonard Cohen eats there :p. $5 for 2 eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, bagel...
Japanese: Kazu (St Catherine & St Marc) is a cozy, new Japanese owned and run place. Very tasty, very authentic, very cheap.
Osaka (Sherbrooke & Bleury) is the only other authentic place I know of. Apparently the sushi is good.
Chinese: Kam fung for dim sum, Noodle Factory for a quick lunch, Little Fat Sheep if you have 2 hours to kill and want to try some interesting Mongolian hot pot.
Burger: Buns, at $4 tax included for a very quality burger is hard to beat.
Poutine: IMO Patati Patata > La Banquise
Sushi: The $12 weekday lunch special for students @ Kanda is decent... I eat at least $12 worth of salmon sashimi sooo... |

Oh for Korean BBQ:
Tianxia on Bishop and De Maissoneuve. All you can eat Korean BBQ for around $22, plenty of condiments, unlimited soft drinks and best of all, surprisingly good salmon sashimi (which can also be grilled, of course). |
