Anyone catch the first episode of the new season last night? It's kinda sad knowing that Capt. Phil will die this season. Last I read, the family was still deciding whether or not to show some of that hospital footage.
Aside from that, the Jake-Jake swap will be interesting.
Also kinda surprised there was a rescue so early in the season, although I guess that's happened in the past.
Finally, "Wild Bill" and the "Kodiak" look interesting.
It's gonna be another wild ride!
Edit: And the Johnathan/Keith fight was kinda crazy. If Keith tried to poach the crewmember, he deserved what was coming to him. |

used to watch it a bit during its first season. what the was the point going past season one? better yet why couldn't it just be a one time documentary... |

Yeah he died about 2 months ago after suffering a stroke during the filming of the opilio crab season. Pretty sad but not all that unexpected. |

| I think the man also suffered a stroke (or was it a heart attact...am not sure) a year earlier during season 5. |
