Imagine 2000 is being thrown in tribute to one of the Bay Area's most historic dance years... 2000! Hosted by Team Tronic, The Sexy Skills Sirens, The PLUR Kids, and The Beautiful Unity Glow Girls
Sharing The Love
Our goal is to raise $3,000 for the following youth charities:
AUTISM SPEAKS
Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
YOUTH SPEAKS
Youth Speaks empowers the next generation of leaders, self-defined artists, and visionary activists through written and oral literacies. We challenge youth to find, develop, publicly present, and apply their voices as creators of social change.
YOUTH ALIVE
Youth ALIVE! is a non-profit public health agency founded in 1991 dedicated to preventing youth violence and generating youth leadership in California communities experiencing high rates of violence. Youth ALIVE! advocates for strategies to reduce violence, and runs two programs in Oakland and Los Angeles.
Think Positive. Live Positive. Dance Positive.
In the spirit of Imagination, classic dance attire is strongly encouraged. Keep the vibe alive by dusting off your old rave pants and visors.
Those who go all out may just get invited to dance on stage with the Sexy Skills Sirens
and The Beautiful Unity Glow Girls.

| Nice. Needs more Lukasz. What happened to him by the way? Not in the Bay Area that often now but loved his sets and a great person. Same with another DJ which name escapes me. He played psytrance at the Dungeon a lot. Long hair if I remember and no, not Mars. But Mars is awesome. Best of luck with future DeepVoices productions by the way! |

needs more lukasz indeed!! Much thx for following me and enjoying my sets!! I'm still here and there but my life led me to fatherhood. I will make a comeback really soon here, just need to find a way to juggle life around. Keep up with me on facebook, fb.com/djlukasz

Yah man, you learn you have to make sacrifices. More than you might've really thought you would!. Right now I'm on TA a lot because I'm just doing contract work and my boy stays home with me. (Since he's not in daycare right now, I spend the first few hours of every morning doing the education stuff with him. He's becoming so smart!!!!) After lunch, he gets to watch cartoons so I get on TA and blab away haha.
But when I diddddd have a job and doooooooooo have a job in the future, I had to give up maintaining the sf party calendar and other small things like that and slowed down on TA (and the whole scene) BIGTIME for quite awhile. I find myself having more free time as the months went by and start posting on TA a bit more, but NOTHING compared to cira 2003-2005 on here. Hell, nothing I do within the scene is at the level it was then? Not until the time I can maybe one day have a full time job within the scene. Then I'd be in heaven!
Congrats on fatherhood, BTW! It's an awesome...and interesting experience! |

IMAGINE 2000 TICKET UPDATE
Hundreds of people were waiting to buy tickets for i-2000 when they went on sale on June 15th, @ 10AM. We only had 200 discounted tickets available for the $10 & $20 price, and those sold out in minutes after going on sale. We have already sold several hundred tickets on the first day.
We wish we could put all the tickets on sale for that discounted price, but the fact is we cannot, as we would not be able to deliver the quality of the production that we have planned. We at SKILLS feel confident you will enjoy the show no matter what price level you purchase.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
Due to events beyond our control, Imagine2000 will no longer be held at the Regency Center. But never fear! The event will still go on as planned on Saturday, July 31 at a new, exciting location in the city of San Francisco. We’ll be announcing the new venue on Saturday, July 17 on the website and our Facebook page. Stay tuned for more information! |
