plus, its a GS. from memory those are the really quiet cards, designed for home theatres. if your vidcard isn't a whirring monstrosity, it just aint good for games!

I tried to make the computer "look" like a gaming computer with the clear LED computer case, keyboard, and mouse.

When I was a computer building noob, I thought higher = better. The 6800GT was considered the best of the best a few months before I started building. When I got around to it, I noticed the 7200GS was out, so I opted to go with that..thinking it was the "next generation" of gaming cards and and would blow me away.

..turns out it was less powerful than integrated video. :stongue:

I bought my 8800gt a while ago refurbished for $100

Shouldn't be too hard getting one for ~80

If you want mid-tier gaming go with the 8600gt, not a bad card

I'm opting out of gaming computers and just going to build the cheapest home/office computer I can possibly build Right now, I can do that, with a used flat panel monitor for $328.41. Still not satisfied. I want it to be below $300 so I can sell it for less than $400 and make a 30% profit margin.

Why not? This is for those people who just want the cheapest of the cheap, but a computer system that does non-high performance stuff well. If I do it, might market it to businesses though. Businesses that just want a computer to do office stuff and nothing more.
