In some ways, this was track of the night for me... it's one of those tunes that I've always wanted to hear at a club. Blew my mind; I just about lost it here. Brings back a lot of memories. Thank you! |

Everyone said what needed to be said. Tom played one of the best sets I've ever heard! From start to finish the flow was phenomenal.. I had 2 REVs alll night and danced harder than I can remember.. what a night! Good sets by Arnej and Kris (Mr. Sander Van Morton!) as well, I missed Angelo's set though.
I was so looking forward to seeing Gareth Emery tonight, but not too disappointed after those 2 hrs I got off Tom! Best night at Vola so far for me!! |

ha I did this for like 5 straight years when I first discovered tranceaddict (2004-2009)
yesterday I checked out Circus afterhour and the 4h I were there was pretty miserable with minimal techno non-stop :mad: , time to get my trance fix with Arnej in Montreal , hopefully he will play Mindcircus as well. |

I arrived early at Vola as usual around 11. Started poundin back the heiny's and got a bit of a beer belly (where I really couldn't move). Everytime I come to Vola I notice new things and so surprised with the light show and sound system. I mean that place was louder then I have ever experienced (ear plugs a must). I mentioned this to the washroom attendant and the sound guy was right there and he was like "they should kill the sound guy"or something like that.. and I am like what? you are the sound guy! he then explained the owner or management told him to keep it at that level. This doesn't bother me nor did it ruin my night, simply just astonished how loud it was.
Angelo dropped some great openers and fav song by him was sun in the winter which is prob one of my top songs at the moment. Arnej did an excellent job and really got the crowd moving. My fav songs by him were Chimera, They Need Us and As you fall. Tom was relentless and couldn't really ID every track but was happy i got to hear Umek - Work This Data! As I said before by the time the headliners are done I am pretty much sore and beat to a pulp. Kris has continued to pump up the crowd and feed them a constant supply of energy! Only downside to his set was the limited time he had to work with. Upside is we will continue to be amazed by this guy May 7th and many other great times.
All in all another fabulous night at Vola! Keep them coming guys! |
