I definitely need to make a trip to Club Vola. I've never been, and I just told some friends about it, they are down with checking it out.

It sounds like I missed out on an amazing experience, I really wanted to check out Tom. C'est la vie.

Hopefully there's a Saturday night soon that I can head out to Toronto and party it up.

I'll be sure to keep tabs on the forum for the upcoming hype.

Thanks to all who posted, I now have a loud bug in my ear. Bahahaha.

NICE! Now where's the rest?? ;)

Here's my Tracklist... lol.. ready??

Jonas Stenberg & Dave Schiemann - The Drop (Mark Sherry Remix)
Adam Foley pres Advanced - Live
Milo.nl meets Invincible - The 7th Day 2010 (Nick Larson Remix)
Mr. Sam feat T4L - Rydem Koba (Markus Schulz Big Room Reconstruction)
Greg Downey - Showtime

Funny, I didn't even know what the last song I played til I looked it up when I got home. I didn't mean to play Showtime, I played the completely wrong track so thank God it still worked well. I was really laughing at everyone who absoultely loved it though!!! LOL Guess I'll have to put that one in the playlists :P

started off the night w/ orko, but too bad that we missed the guestlist cutoff by 10 min. 501 ftl.

loved all the trance being played. it really was great to hear some faster bpm for a change and arnej and tom definitely delivered. the time flew by during tom's set. wish he could've played a bit longer.

i also loved hearing some classics, even though they were remixed. dogzilla - without you, ridgewalkers - find, and of course exploration of space. sooooo good!

can't wait for K&A!

dogzilla - without you

cosmic gate - exploration of space

Here's my belated review:)

Hooked up with Kris again before the club. Nice to get pumped for the club showing each other new tracks we've discovered. (I'm hoping Mr. Morton catches the deep prog-psy and the psy-tech trance bug that I've got and drops some of these tracks into his sets someday. And I'm way out of the loop on what is good tech-trance other than Marco V and Sander Van Doorn, so it's nice to get edjumicated ya know?)

Was stoked to hear Arnej was playing, and I enjoyed the variety in his set. One of my fav. producers. Tom's set was pretty banging and based on a quick chat I had with him, we owe a lot to the guys at Discover records (i.e. John Askew) for their supporting of this new-school group of trance guys (after the unicorn trance guys went their pop-oriented route).

My only criticism is that I'm partial to more of a progression through the night. I mean, I was glad Tom tweaked up the energy, but the transition from Arnej to Tom (for me) seemed so abrupt it was like a buzz kill at first. Secondly, it would have been nice to hear more Mr. Morton...but there's always next time.

Maybe since the club was a lot emptier, there were fewer bodies to improve the acoustics of the room, so the sound just wasn't as good IMO. At one point I thought one of the subs were blown.

That last track (or near the end) Tom played (Cosmic Gate remix?) was so sweeeeet. I love that *DUGADUGADUGADUGADUGADUGA....* aggressive bassline sound in his productions and that style of trance.
