Have you guys seen this?
The teeny-tiny Turcot, you know that jam-packed interchange which is crumbling... the city of montreal is proposing to have it rebuilt with only ONE lane to each direction!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later on the city going to be wondering why everyone going back to the suburbs or no one coming downtown. Just imagine all the soon to be dead people trying to get to the new super hospital.
I think the mayor was on to much when he thought of this idea.
I'll sign whatever petition for this idea never to see the light of day. |

lol, it took 30 years to build 3 metro station in Laval, everything ends up way over budget and way late, too late... and he thinks that his tramways will be ready before this turcot will be rebuilt?
(and there's not even a single elaborate plan on those tramway or how to pay them).

most of montreal voted for him because of Louise Harrel's past association with the PQ. So for these people, voting Louise harrel as mayor = voting for quebec's independance. Im not saying she would have Been a good choice but we had to take Tremblay out at any price to show that we Will not accept what was done....

c'est surtout ce genre d'histoire qui me fait chier. et ce n'est pas manquable dans ce genre de projet, dans toute notre courte histoire, ça a été le cas. |

| I really don't understand why he is hell bent on forcing public transportation down everybody's throat. Don't get me wrong its great to have good public transportation but our regular highway infrastructure should be a priority for the future too. Does he really think people are gonna stop buying cars? |

There has never been as many cars ON the island of Montréal (let alone the suburbs) as today... people got richer and cars are more affordable too with the stronger dollar.
Public transportation is great, but I don't think we should massacre our tiny highway system because some anti-car nazis have been elected at the worst elections in Montreal's history (with the lowest turnout ever). |
