Latest news is that it's gone to the forensics labs to figure out the cause.
To me it sounds like they're thinking arson. |

@ VDub Everynight Id turn all the breakers off for Lighting/Audio, even the DJ booth, nothing was left on, on my part of the end
But the Top 40 was definatly that bad, big fml.
@sizzle_3 yeah the cdj-2000s and djm800 were burned with everything in the office :( and I'm sure theres no chance of surviging considering all the alochol that was in there.... damn
Its not an isurance scam.... trust me on that one
I wouldn't be suprised if its electrical, last week they installed a dishwasher in the bar, and a another ice machine as well....
I never in trusted these new management when they came in, i bet if they never came, didn't bring all their with them, change how it was running, bring in 3 more fridges and have 6 large fridges running off of 3 circuits the whole plaza would still be there as well as Mels! |

I'm actually quite surprised you managed to stay employed there considering all of what you've said about the new management on here. Or did you?
And no offence, but if it's an insurance scam I hardly doubt they're going to tell their employees. |

Yeah they tried to get rid of me like 2 times but w/e.
I do have information which I can't share cause its personal stuff, but lets just saying we had to "Lower cost" so I highly doubt its a scam
Plus it started between tabus back door and the eye doctors (which is where the dishwasher was installed... in that area) |

| Pretty much What I'm saying that if they wanted it to be a scam they woudln't want to "Lower Cost" they woulda kept it |

| I'm not claiming to know more than you, but I've seen my fair share of shady club management in my years in the industry. There *are* people who do this (sadly) for a living and they're good enough to make it look like a mistake or very hard to figure out what the real cause was. Certain motorcycle clubs have made a living off of burning buildings down for insurance. |

I know what your talking about I know its been done. But trust me on this one, it is sad. But anyways, no matter what 'now' we could never possibly make the investment back is that im saying
But I will say, I wouldn't be suprised if the other have of fubar (that had nothing done to it since fubar closed) started the fire as well... the power was still on and live over there and there was alreadys ty as wiring when I was up in the attic, scary stuff |

I have drunken memories of DJing at Metropolis in the 1990s... I got so wasted DJing there one night that I actually fell down the stairs with my 100 pound record box going with me ass over tea kettle. That was fun! |
