Yeah, I was just reflecting on where we were last year G. and how much improvement/experience we gain/learn - sweet jeeesss, it is day and night, it is massive, we started to sound like a pros lol.
Beautiful man (you should know it by now), fantastic melody line (you know that this is important to me) and great atmo you have going on in this track. Perfect balance between melody and modern instruments sound - I'm getting inspired again lol.
Cheers |

| At first i thought its going to be "just another track" but then came the breakdown (that kids loling gives me the ho-ho-ji-biz btw) and the melody after that was also very cool...good melody and very good technical skill no doubt. |

hey tehlord,
some of this is very lovely, the end section. i love your leads, massive work on that. could i ask if thats a multi tap delay or a pingpong? 3:50.
this song reminds me so so much, of a popular song "kate perry - i kissed a girl", im gonna get a acapella because this fits it perfectly in my opinion, you could make a side bootleg ;D. Ha the place i used to work played this everyday.
ok that was fast, sorry my timestretch is manual and yea you get the picture, maybe it will spark some interest from you.

Sorry that I haven't got around to hearing this, yet, but this tune adds another really good listening experience, tonight. Everything just fits together, so nicely. Love the contrapuntal work you're doing.
Totally awesome track! |

thanks :)
I think there's a slight issue in that the 'money shot' of the track is all the break and after. I may be too far down the road with it to drastically alter the start now, but there's still a few frills to add!
Thanks for listening

Hey buddy thanks for the critique. The delay at that point (I assume you don't mean the glitched mini break) is a Cubase ping pong delay. It's pretty much the only delay I use on everything as it's nice and simple and customisable. It's a synced 1/8D (for a bit of syncopation) set to 100% width and about 30-30% on feedback and mix, in this case used as an insert.
Thanks for that acapella too! :D I'll take a listen to that later and see what I can do with it, much appreciated!

Thanks AGAIN for listening!
And also thanks for making me look up the word 'contrapuntal' :D
I have plenty of classical training in my dim and distant past so it's probably catching up with the music I make now! |

cheers Dave :)
The arp at the end is probably my own favourite thing i've ever done (in the context of this mix) and took a bit of time to program 'just so'
Glad you spotted it, or them ;) |
