Ok, dont get me wrong..
I m not "standing up" for everyone's right to express they like to torture animals or some *stupid* idea they might have.
The point is that if you don't agree with what "insertname" said or if u think what he said was plain stupid, u can post your reply and tell what u think (after all, isnt the "tell what u think" part the main idea of a forum's existance).
But that doesnt require in any way that you should close the thread.

B4 this thread starts turning into a "u suck" thread, let's end it in peace. U ve read what i thought, u ve posted your opinions, and that's it. Maybe the thread was useful, maybe it was worthless, but the fact is that we ve learned what other ppl thought bout this...
some of us think that there should be less threads being closed, some think that things are ok.

Ps: tranceDJ.. i think that u ve got it all wrong... that wasnt my post in the 1st place.. in fact, i was going to write bout how cruel and sadistic is to do that to birds, but the thread was closed...

well, personally, i think that lately there have been VERY FEW constructive topics on this board... yet they are not getting closed and even more importantly, the creators are not being called lame! like take another AG thread in consideration.
and what is it with some people that makes them call others lame? i don't know, is that a way of somehow feeling important, can you explain? does calling someone lame place that person above someone else? "ooh, he posted a lame thread, let's call a lamer, maybe i'll feel serious, important, and mature". is that what it is? |

i think we've got some issues on these forums and maybe we need to see like a counselor or something to resolve them. or at least to speak openly about them. but if you have something to say - say it, because honesty is in the heart of a good relatioship and what the hell am i talking about, i definitely need to go to bed for it's 1 am and blah... :D :D :D |

| I support the Mod's right to kill a thread when he sees fit. This may sound harsh but this is swampers forum and he appoints mods to maintain order and a friendly environment, if you cant live with this then go somewhere else. I personally thought the thread was in bad taste and wasnt sorry to see it go. Bottom line if you want to be part of a community then you're subject to its rules, so quit your crying and move on. |

I HIT A SEAGEL ON THE ARSE WITH A PLUMP, HARDLY TORTUE TO ANIMALS.....YOU CLOSED THAT THREAD BECAUSE YOU WERE BORD OUT YOUR MIND.
Any ways, Wasnt exactly as stupid as most threads these days, I appoligise if i come across as `pathetic`, i was just trying to create a bit of fun....:(
...Anyways i think im sounding a bit too like seven cities or gouryella now so ill stop. Please dont flame me, Just kill the thread or summit. Im sotty man :) No hard feelings.
By the way, I also bagged 15 windows...I stopped shooting at birds so i learned a lesson :) |

oh you shoot birds too? thats cool i shot a possum a few days ago and then i got a rabbit a few weeks ago...i'll never forget it |

Sorry to interfere in this discussion, but this post just struck a note with me. I think a lot of the bad mood on these boards are due to people posting without thinking much about the effect their post will have on others - or as in this case, without actually taking their time to get familiar with the things being discussed.
I, too, believe that far too many threads are being closed because their content is deemed to be offensive. But I am not a mod - and wouldn't want to be either - so I'll have to accept their judgement in cases such as this, whether I agree or not. That's simply the price we must pay to keep this forum relatively civilized I think. |

| I shot this bird once at my house with a b.b. gun, because he was trying to attack my cats(usually the other way around). I've never seen a bird like this before, but he was getting on my nerves, so I saw him making noise in a tree by my house, so I shot his ass. He went down to the ground like that old Nintendo video game... spinning. None of his other bird friends stuck around after that. |
