Are there pictures in it?

What pictures? Who told you about the pictures?? :nervous:

NOTHING!

Oh sorry, that was a typo. I didn't mean any pictures, specifically. But yeah, I won't tell anyone about those. :o

No, not really. We're far richer than that.

If you would like to view it that way. A self-ascribed 'bad habit' is admission to opportunity for improvement though. Is that not an overwhelmingly positive characteristic of one's individuality?

Of course. I don't think bad habits are ALL that we are...but one has to admit they're very telling about our personalities.

I'm not saying that out of sheer optimism. For example, I don't think Jenny's running gags, such as the fart thing, are a bad habit - but the moment I fart and feel the foetid smell of Gorgonzola reach my nostrils, I instantly think of this place. The same could be said about Nine Inch Nails and you.

We collect so many different experiences as individuals on top of the fact that we all come with a slightly different biological background that I find this kind of reductionism too simplistic.

I'm not just my habits, I'm not just my taste, I'm not just my experiences. I'm all these things interwoven into something much more complex i.e. my body, which is unique in its own way.

Well like Jenny said, I don't think any of us were implying we are nothing more than our bad habits, so I absolutely agree with you. But upon first glance, I think that people (maybe just people I know) have a tendency towards making assumptions to create an image of someone based upon their own personal experiences - no matter how arbitrary or insightful this can at some times be - and objectionable habits tend to hold a grossly disproportionate sway upon the composite interpersonal opinion of individuals. It's just our tribal habits rearing their ugly heads - she likes this, she can't be my friend, he likes ____ so we have something in common, etc. It's generally the result of the subjectivity of interest, despite cultural folkways dictating the sort of consensus morality of personal conduct according to the post-reptilian trnamission of social values.

I'm thinking of making it a pop-up book. With sparkles. And possibly brail.

Don't forget the pictures. :gsmile:

did someone say c0ckpicz?

Halcyon+On+On
I have those neatly tucked away in a vault somewhere. When my career begins to plummet, I'll release them to the press to milk some extra publicity out before my one, last gasp into celebritarian insanity and traumatic substance abuse.

Think!
