I've been hit twice. Once by a fat white guy who jerked into my lane and sideswiped me, once by a skinny black guy who ran a red and t-boned me. They say men are statistically the worst drivers. I'm inclined to agree.

I've been to a fair few countries and the worst driving I've seen have been in Belgium, Kenya and America (Florida to be more specific, right up and down the state). Are Florida drivers representative of general US drivers? I don't know.

Florida is pretty representative I'd say. Worst place in the US I've driven is either New York City, Miami, or the Korean district outside of Atlanta. :p

Statistics indicate that men are more inclined to be involved in more damaging accidents, likely due to reckless speeding - as far as insurance companies are concerned, they are of a slightly higher liability due to the sheer damage estimate. But I think that women are statistically involved in more accidents, they just tend to be more low-profile, low-speed incidents. I could be wrong, but that was my understanding as to why I pay so goddamned much per month.

That's very true.

Though, they are actually pretty good drivers. If they weren't, they wouldn't survive in that environment. :p
