Yeah. It's crazy . Then again the canadian driving was, as there was no official 'fast' lane, and they all seemed to be unorganised, and yet it seemed to be much safer than here. |
Where in Canada?
I've driven through Michigan/Indiana/Chicago and found the driving to be much the same as the driving in southern Ontario, except that slow people actually tend to stay in the right-hand lane in the states.
Driving in Guatemala City is chaotic as . I think I saw all of 7 traffic lights throughout the entire city while I was there. People seemed to have absolutely no regard for other cars on the road, but would come to screeching stops to avoid running over stray dogs on the street lol. |

down the 401 or 410 or QEW etc. It seems like some weave in & out like crazy, others went fast in what would've been a 'slow' lane here & vice-versa. It seemed so weird and so many lanes, and yet it felt safe. |

Oh, they're weaving because immigrants are driving 90 in the left and middle lanes.
There's a science to it, really. Approaching the mergers, the right lane will move fast up to the exit ramp, because cars are moving out of the way, but immediately slow down as retards try to merge onto the highway driving 70km/h instead of speeding up to 100+, so you have about 100 meters to move back over to the left.
Usually the left lane is boogying at 130 though. |

the problem here is also that many of them drive taxis and are a law to themselves, not signalling, turning into one way streets the wrong way to save time, cutting people up, tailgating, jumping red lights etc. Then those who have no license, so generally cannot drive properly and safely. You need about five sets of eyes these days to deal with all the out there. |
