Not really. Games are just being dumbed down with crosshairs the size of a small African nation as well as aim assist. |

| The only decent controls for FPS on consoles comes from the wiimote, preferably mounted on a handgun. However, while that is acceptable for aiming, your shortcuts are still pretty much ed. |

No. The Wii is horrible for FPS games.
In theory, it should work just like a mouse and keyboard.
In reality, you gotta slide your aim to the sides of the screen to adjust left/right/up/down. Which ruins it's potential. |

No, it actually DOES work really well. Games on the PC are just as guilty for the giant crosshairs nowadays, but I'll give you aim assist (that I constantly complain about in MW2 and cuss out the ****s that made the game for not giving us an option to remove it). |

Eh? The huge crosshairs in PC games is due to cross-platform development and devs being too lazy/jewish to provide PC players with an experience catered to their hardware :( PC gaming is dead.
but i agree that the wiimote is horrible for FPS games, actually all games really. so floaty and imprecise. |

| If I want to play a console game, I buy it for pc. But why would I want to buy console games? For the most part, they suck. Not to mention the costs of buying a limited capability console every 5 years. Limited in comparison to what a pc computer can do. If you need to upgrade, it's much cheaper and easier than having to buy another expensive console. If you don't like a mouse and keyboard, then use a gamepad designed for pc computers. |

That's why I mod every console I own...if it can't be modified to play backups, then I won't buy it. Exception is my PS3 which is my HD media player which works amazingly well with ps3 media server and Linux machine :D |

Wiimote is kickass for stuff like Zelda and Mario. Seriosuly, playing a Zelda game without one now would be like going outside without pants.
It's not great for FPS though I think that could be fixed up with a more precise pointer. |

You failed to mention Metroid. IMO it works really good with the Trilogy :) |
