Originally I thought it was this too, and knew you had ID'd it. But when I found that Troxler vid on youtube, I looked through the comments for the ID and it actually turned out to be 'Caravan'.

The Stefan Viljin version is so bangin' :eyespop:

yea theres a few versions floating around...this track made people explode at Get Lost--the video is epic, I'm sad I missed it. Satoshi dishing it out must have been insanity.

wow wow wow.... I a still recovering from a great weekend in Toronto.

Everytime I see Satoshi I am blown away. Plus, I cant imagine many better places for him to play than Footwork. Everytime I go there i have such a great time with great people. You wouldn't be able to drag me away from that place if I lived in Toronto.

I'd like to also give mad props to those involved in the club setup and lighting. Everybody expressed their desire to have it dark for this night, and the club delivered. There were times that I swore I was dancing at Fabric because that's what the lighting and atmosphere reminded me of. The staff was top notch and very friendly. It was great meeting a few of you and sharing in the musical journey. Hope to see ya all in Detroit, and then all weekend after Canada Day!! I hope the clubs around town have some serious lineups ready that weekend.

I had not seen him since 2002 at ((())) and whoaa.....

We got there around 10:30PM and Jeff did an exceptional job to get things set up for Satoshi. Got the club warmed up beautifully. Was nice to meet you Jeff, on the steps by the dj booth, we chatted for a bit, I was the blond dude with the white wmc tshirt (Chris). Sorry I did not meet more TA members - perhaps I was in my bubble!

I preferred Satoshi's set over Hernan's at Shine for wmc, for sure. Satoshi's programming, track selection/sequencing is flawless.

Satoshi delivered us a 5-hr dark epic prog musical journey. He built things up at the perfect speed - so smooth. No weird, cold, robotic noises, but the occasional well-placed twisted sounds that plays with your head. He proved to us why he's the master of that sound. Carefully weaving deep sounds incorporating many sub-genres to create a unique mood. He had the place under his spell and most of us did not stop to dance at any point during his performance. I was hoping the last track would be more on a melodic trip to end things, but it ended quite harshly. Either to make a statement, or he had his orders to shut down. Regardless, I had to shake his hand at the end.

Indeed, congrats to the Footwork Team for 5 great years!

Brillant night.

Jeff did a spot-on ultra smooth warmup that set the mood of the night perfectly. The crowd was quite good, it was busy but not rammed and everyone seemed friendly and there to have a good night. Lovely to see so many friends come out of the woodwork for this one.

And Satoshi.... mmmm... where do I start? The fact is that hardly anyone gets the opportunity to play a long set in this city anymore, so THANK YOU Footwork for allowing him to have an extended set.

He did a seamless transition from where Jeff ended and launched into a musical journey. Some darker drummy, almost-but-not-quite tribal influenced stuff within his first hour that blended into warm, groovy house tunes. Dark but still melodic prog was up next on the menu. And then I just stopped keeping track and let myself get sucked in. Few djs are talented enough to pull this off and it's been much too long since I experienced this. Thank you Satoshi. I didn't realize how much of a void I had for this experience until you delivered it. So effin' good.

Congrats to FW on their 5 year anniversary - here's to many more great years - there simply isn't any other venue in this city I want to see my favourite djs at!
