Anyways, I was already in wow-mode still from Friday. I walked through the doors at Guv thinking, MAN isn't life just the absolute BEST EVER when trance gets booked here two nights in a row! (and this isn't even the first time this has happened this year, goddamn I'm a happy person!). :D
I don't really feel like writing a detailed review for this one, so I'll make this short and sweet. Paco is SICK, always love his track selection. The Gallery was WAYYYYY to hot, as usual. Stayed for an hour and a half before I couldn't handle myself not being in the main room (lol Jay, at the start of Paco: "You DO realize that there's trance being played in the main room..."). For Markus, words cannot describe. Better than BeB (and faster :D), better than anytime I've seen him at Guv, better than chocolate. His set at Pacha in NYC was always tops for me, but I'm pretty sure Sat night beat that out. Tune after tune after slamming tune, Markus was relentless. Started the night out banging, ended the night by dislocating all of our jaws. Without You Near, ooooohhhhhhhhhh yes, maybe one of the moments of the year.

Markus ing Schulz for serious. <3

lol what! I asked you how he is, and you pulled a face and said "oh he ed up, he played 2 songs at the same time" lol
silly woman!
OkiDokie
You guys have a world class club, great sound system, amazing lasers, and and 6hrs set from Markus.

I had a blast, thanks TOTA's, it was great partying the way you party in Toronto.

Only think I HATED, was the fact that you get pushed every 5 seconds by someone before 3ish , God I wanted to leave.
Other than that, sick night.

Merci! :)

lol what? It's not even possible for me to have said that considering I couldn't ID a single track he played and wouldn't have been able to differentiate the 2 different tracks played at once (unless they weren't beatmatched). :P Hah it's of no matter, not interested in TA post-combatting. Markus & Paco ftw.

this was day 2 of my party weekend. running on 4 hours of sleep, having work beforehand, and running back and forth between downtown and richmond hill, i didn't think i'd have the energy to make it through the night. especially since i started off at another place earlier in the night.

but, got in just before 2, and the place was packed, just as i imagined it. luckily, as i walk in, i bump into veronica and taylor and we head straight to the gallery. the space was hot, sweaty, and dark...just the way i like it. thought the set was nicely built and loved being there for all of the 1.5 hours. i'm really glad i went to the gallery first because i was still in mood for some house music and i definitely got my fix. looking forward to seeing him at electric zoo. :D

headed back into the guv, and markus was tearing the place apart. thought he played MUUUUCH better than he did last time he was here...thought that set was garbage. luckily he didn't disappoint this time around. beautifully mixed and programmed all the way through. i don't think i stopped dancing at any point in the night. and of course being in the back is a treat with all the lights and lasers going off. this is probably one of the main reasons i originally started going back there. best spot in the guv, hands down.

closing down guv was also nice since i don't think i've done it since joof. different experience but totally worth it. finished off the night by buying flowers for mother's day and finally getting some sleep.

one thing i gotta say though, is that it was nice being back in guv after not stepping foot in there since last september. we're so lucky to have it right in our backyard.

Bromance + uber trance = :nervous:

In The Gallery it wasn't too bad, and it got a little better by the very end of the night in the main room. ;)
