I like ALL kinds of music, except metal and most country. I work at an independent, non-commercial radio station. I am around music all the time that I wouldn't normally seek out. Its nice to listen to something that is different from what you would listen to most of the time.

I'm with ya. I really do like the scales they use, but jesus christ, it takes that many people to make that little of sound? I am by no means saying they are 'bad', because that's a ing worthless argument when it comes to music, but the African Pop thing seems more of a gimmick and I just don't think they're very interesting. But that is obviously just my opinion.
The indie cred thing is total horse though. Independent artists don't have official music videos. This stinks of corporate backing! Power to the people! uruhguhg
