ladies and gentlemen! the tournament of all tournaments is beginning soon in the land where it all began. this world cup is definately going to be special. first ever to be held in africa. lots of work went into pulling this off. even some people were skeptical while fifa themselves had a contingency plan to hold it somewhere else. but nonetheless, south africa pulled it off. africans are perhaps some of the most passionate football fans in the world which means the stadiums are going to be insane. filled with vibrant colours and energy from one end to the other.
so this week all the teams line ups were announced. some really controversial ones but ill let those come up as this thread goes on.
who is everyone here supporting? if any.
who are the underdogs?
who will choke under pressure?
