My girlfriend charges 300$ an hour and she is probably on the lower end of the pay scale.

on the other hand vocal tracks are usually more commercial, and adding the feat. Vocalist name it's like announcing that it's a vocal track and some people are so narrow minded that only buy vocal tracks. |
so why not just say it is an artist , like Lady Gaga. You don't see major labels selling their wares as dj Asswhipe featuring Stephanie Germinoca (whatever her last name is) . You have an artist name, Lady Gaga, you have an image , and you have sales. IF EDM producers knew how to market themselves, they could reaching alot more people making alot more money. |

here is a case study

This title is
Stephen Wiley Ft. Kristine Grundmane - Not Over Yet (Mario and Eric J remix)
This is an example of really really bad marketing. First off , to the laymen , it is utterly confusing. Who is the song by ? You need to keep things simple if you want to reach a wide audience. Now Stephen is a really nice guy but not so great at business which would explain his little outcry about a month ago complaining about nobody buying tracks.
I mean lets just dissect the title above. Not only is the original artist not even mentioned which is an insult to say the least but he is putting his name before the artist which according to any marketing expert is nonsense as sex sells and focussing on the female will sell more records unless Stephen was a household name which he isn't.
Moving on
The name Kristine Grundmane , perhaps this is my opinion but it sounds rather unappealing to put it nicely. When I hear that name, I am thinking classical music, not EDM. There is no brand, just a bunch of ego preying producers trying to get credit while loosing sight of the actual goal which to sell a brand. I guarantee that if you worked continuously with this artist, got her an actual name that didn't suck and groomed her image creating some sense of a brand, you would sell alot more. You think it is a coincidence that producers don't put their names in the title for most pop albums ? Nobody cares. It is confusing to most. They just want to know who is singing the song. Deadmau5 to most is just an artist that makes songs. They don't think of him as as producer. He has a brand , a name that makes it accessible.
It is rather simple. Stop selling to djs. If you want to make money, make tracks that sure djs will play and buy but are accessible to normal people. Start selling yourself as an artist, not a producer. |

I never once said I don't consider black people "people".
And I have no idea what this glorified animal talk is, I simply said I don't believe you have a gf because you fondle yourself everytime fight club is on.
You have a very strong gay presence, I'm not against gays, I'm against people who try to hide the fact that they are gay, like you. |

it would make sense if you have your GED
let me recap it for you
You didn't believe I had a girlfriend
I then stated that you probably wouldn't as she is half black and as we've clearly established in the previous thread your overt racist view would not let your tinkering feeble mind make the association that indeed she might be a person therefore making it hard if not impossible for you to accept that I do in actuality have a girlfriend. I then likened you to a notable racist from the nazi era. |

I then stated that you probably wouldn't as she is half black and as we've clearly established in the previous thread your racism. Given your overt hate for these people and the fact that you would not let your feeble mind make the association that indeed she might be a person, you could not believe that it was in fact a "girlfriend". I then likened you to a notable racist from the nazi era. |
Let me ask you a question, does it make you feel smart that you cited a "notable racist" from the nazi era, or does it make you feel stupid that noone has a clue wtf you're talking about? Most people know Hitler, maybe even Himler, almost noone knows who the Eichmen is.
You never murmered a word about your 'gf' being half black, shes no less a person if she is, just watch out because one day she might steal your wallet, get knocked up, go on welfare, than start selling crack.
And don't say I didn't warn you. |

I"m pretty sure most people would know who Eichmann was. Considering he was the architect of the Holocaust, you would think he was a name most people would know. He did kinda calculate the greatest organized human genocide to date.
Goddamn you are dense. Were you home schooled or something ? |

"Architect" ok maybe I can see that but he really didn't do much of anything but organize and deport some Jews. No Jews would be dead today if it wasn't for Himmler, as Eichman was too big a to get his hands dirty.
If anything Himmler is a much more "notable" Nazi, he oversaw and ran all the concentration camps, and is more responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews than anyone. If you wanted to be different you didn't have to say Hitler, but if you wanted someone still "notable" I would have went with Himmler, Eichman was just some skinny little DJ Qualls looking troll who many aren't really familiar with.
The only people who will know that name are history buffs, but I guarantee 90% of the population doesn't even know who he is. |
