OMG this happened not too far from where i was on saturday afternoon. northern parts of OKC got hit REAL bad w/ hail. alas, i was near Wiley Post Airport; and scathed away untouched.

crazy though.

This happens way more frequently than it used to in the old days.


And it's not global warming. There is just so much pavement/dark surfaces and heat coming from cities that it causes the air to rise rapidly and result in massive hails.

I remember seeing some news year or two ago about some massive outdoor car storage at germany (like 10īs of thousands of cars) being battered to unsellable condition by giant hails.
