Is he still good?

I haven't followed soccer in a long time. He seems like he's gotta be getting old now, no?

Either way, will be cool. Gotta check out the new stadium sometime this Summer for sure.

Him being good is debatable... Most Barca fans are obviously hopped up on the whole Messi thing, it's easy to say "Yeah, Henry's not as good as him"... But as far as MLS, and the Red Bulls, it's a great signing... He's 32, which isn't young, but definitely isn't the end of the line for him either, I think he's got a good 3-4 years in him, which will mean a good 3-4 years of soldout Red Bull Arena, I think...

It's already doing really well, it's very exciting; I enjoy going to the games so much more this season than any other season.. AND we're winning..

I don't follow soccer, so I was like "Theirry Henry, never heard of him, wonder what he spins" LOL

Definitely not what he used to be. But for us, this is a good thing: first of all, he will help promote US Soccer, and, while not the public face that Beckham was, he's a star that will put more fans in the seats. Second, at 32, Marcello is right, he's got another 4 years ahead of him and lets face it, at the level he was playing before, he's going to show a lot of these guys a thing or two about the game.

Personally I never was a really fan of him, he was always conveniently on teams I disliked lol, but hey, I'm down for showin some Red Bull love. Support NY/NJ Soccer!

Wow King Henry is going to play for the Red Bulls. I will try and go see a game to catch the arsenal legend. I could never see him in person when he played for arsenal, so I will see him in person now.

He is still good, but never hit the form he was in at Arsenal, but Henry on a bad day is still better than anyone in the MLS on a good day.

What's he spin?

You know...I love seeing things like this. It gives me hope that Steven Gerrard will come to the Philadelphia Union or DC United.

it's a good start. mls has come a long way. it's the only league that didn't have its own stadium per city until relatively recent times.

hopefully people will grow more interested in the sport and eventually groom the messi's of the future, etc. :D
