How do feel wind through thick leather, a helmet and a visor?
I literally can't think of anyone respectable that owns/likes a superbike. They are all fudges.
I am however enlightened enough to realise there will be some people out there, but certainly in the UK people only want them to try and show off/fail miserably. See boy racer, the mobile version of a chav. Only twice as annoying and tenfold more dangerous. |
I absolutely hate those s. |

Yeah mate. I seriously cannot fathom why these dickless wonders think that having a car, making it look ter and driving it even ter makes them cool.
Adding an induction kit to try and make a 1.1 fiesta sound like a V12 (in their wet dreams) b2b with some terrible Fli-trap 12" subs from Halfords pounding out the worst commercial dance/gansta rap in a supermarket car park.
Real baller guys, stay fly.
Hey Getzum, I like you a bit now! :) |

| yea maybe i'll find out commuting on a bike is uncomfortable, but I have a '98 corolla with 185k miles that still runs well. Instead of piling on more miles I'd like a cheap alternative that can share the load and hopefully be a lot of fun. Looking at protective wear, do you necessarily recommend leather or can it be that, I dunno what material, looks kinda like a hard nylon/columbia jacket material? |

My best friend's brother, also the first guy I ever loved, died last September in a motorcycle accident.
28 years old with everything going for him in life.
Don't around if you get one - as hard as that is with a fun toy like that.
Sorry to poop on the parade
get a Kawasaki Ninja :toocool: |

Jackets made for motorcycles are generally form fitting and heavy/thick, leather is the best material for this. Any material that's soft and loose will whip around in the wind instead of deflecting it and won't provide you much protection if you fall or if pebble is kicked back from the car/truck in front of you. Contrary to intuition asphalt has the consistency of sandpaper and will tear you up if thrown on to it. You can get colorful sport racing leather or tradition black cruiser styles. Jackets designed for motorcycles will have longer arms to when you stretch forward and vents to keep you cool.

I'd recommend buying local so you get one that feels and fits right. |

| I am not that big into cruisers, mostly because they always have way too much in your face look what I have chrome . Just not my style. If it was mostly blacked out or just annodised aluminium it would be fine. |
