Advice from the Pros
Yumpop: cabs- act like you know where you're going even if you don't by setting the gps before you get a cab with directions, make sure they turn the meter on when you get in, do not do flat fare and if they try to force it say you only have a few dollars, do not travel alone at night pairs are good since some afters are in shady places, Greek Town has good food in comparison to other areas, drink a lot of water, take disco naps, drinks are very strong in Detroit remember that before you get wasted by mistake

As for the meet-up, I vote for the 4:30 at the Beatport Stage. I suggest the back left area because this has been where most TAs congregate in previous years anyway.
In my experience, most people don't get into the festival until 3 or 4pm on the first day because they have to get there, get settled, do a bit of shopping, etc. I don't think many people will show up for the 2pm meeting. |

Yup, that is why I chose that spot and time. Every successful TA meetup I have been to is always back left of the stage. So if we want to do back left corner at 4:30, I am down.
So about me, NYTA, have done the D a few times, will be doing a lot of afters, at Doubletree.

I doubt I'll make the meetup, I'm driving to Detroit after Carola's set in Brooklyn, so I'll prob be there @ around 5 pm, 6 after checking in.
I'm doing Centre Street and I<3UBICT on Sat, Boat on Sun, Old Miami on Monday. |
