Yes, they're already evacuating people from various zones around the volcano. I can't imagine how many poor people are going to lose their homes.

Yeah man, that's awful.

I've already read like 5 statuses from my friends saying that we should pray to God for help, lol.

I just realized... My mom's in Guatamala for vacation this week :wtf:

No one's died, right? :(

No worries, mate. So far the only news I've heard is from a news reporter that is missing but he was reporting very close to the volcano.

Do you have any idea where your mom is? If I can help in contacting her, just let me know.

Well, the initial awesomeness soon went away. There's a massive evacuation of people taking place right now, some people are missing, and at least one is dead after a massive ignited rock fell on him. Some people have lost their homes and their belongings already.

And here you are taking pics for your internet friends like some kind of bourgeois ! Way to go. Prick.

Woscar, can you imagine playing for a crowd of people at the foot of an erupting volcano? Screw the lasers, this would be off da chain. Make it happen.

Like I said, it was awesome at first but the images from the people that live very near to the volcano are starting to come in. :(

Ya my cousins told me about this, glad Pacaya didn't decide to erupt while I was climbing it.

Hope this little guy's doing alright :(

He escorted us from the top of the volcano all the way to the bottom back in February.

That said, the eruption really brings justice to this sign.
