I was not the first female DJ, but I was the first to play the main stage with all the boys and get paid the same.

The guys taught me how I should be more. Why not learn how to run a studio, to produce, run a label? They told me to do it all. I have always been a 120% type of gal, which is not always a great thing, just ask a few of my exes. So I honed in on my craft and it ruled my world. While most girls were out dating, I was learning how to wire a studio. I know your thinking whaaaaat? But I was truly into it. I found it comforting that I never had any boyfriend troubles. A, I never had any boyfriends and B, there was never any time. This was my lover. I was married to my work and there would never be anyone else.

To give you a better idea of how I fell in love, here is another expert from my upcoming book “Through the Fire”

If my memory serves me correctly, Sandra Collins was the first female DJ to play the main stage with all the boys and get paid the same.

Clearly Rap didn't employ a fact checker on this book?? I wonder what other claims she's making?? Did she also invent the turntable? lol.
