maybe this is just a box issue then.

I have had to do this like 3 times just this week!! It seems almost every other day it needs to be done and it severely lags with changing the channels and bringing up the guide.

How old is your receiver? I had some issues a couple months back that they said were due to the receiver being outdated, so I got a new one now and it's fine.

Maybe request a new receiver, you probably just rent that one anyway so rent a newer model.

I only got digital cable in October so the receiver isn't that old, but I am going to call them to see what they can do about it. Maybe if I bitch enough I'll get a free PVR out of the deal, lol.

It is just the basic receiver now that I am using.

And even if htey dont give ya a free PVR box instead... its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WORTH the extra $20 a month for a HD PVR box!!

Cant imagine my life before it anymore! lol

I can't justify giving Rogers more money than I do for a PVR, lol. I am home a lot of the time anyhow and if not most of the shows I watch can be found on timeshifting anyhow ;)

I spoke with Rogers yesterday and apparently my digital box is ancient so they are coming to bring me a new one tomorrow afternoon!! :D
