Ok so yesterday microsoft gave away xboxes to spike up the end of tis conference, and while Nintendo didnt really give away anything, they did provide a nice pair of with each 3DS.
I must say, the nintendo conference has me really excited about everything (exceopt that party game), while th ms conference left me cold (kinetic blah blah blah) |

I was more excited about what the 3D screen was capable of then any of the games. Maybe it's because I grew up with a playstation instead of any Nintendo console :(
The Microsoft conference was ty indeed, I only liked the fact that the "Slim" version was released. |

| Finally, a Kid Icarus game...and Zelda taking full advantage of motion. Nintendo really gave a good showing this year, lots of franchise games and 3DS may have to replace my PSP. |

I was really exited about al the third party games already in development for the 3DS, though we will have to wait for reports from the showroom floor to find out more about them (MGS on 3DS! awesome!)
Sony conference in about 45 minutes, so lets see what they have to offer. Hopefully they wont do the same mistake as Microsoft did and bore us for most of the show with Move.
EDIT: Oh and another reason this years nintendo conference was so awesome. Reggie was back! Previous two years he appeared only for a couple of minutes but the show was ran by that fail marketing chick, but this year we got the whole reggie experience, yeah! He's the only suit in the gaming world that has some stage presence, hes interesting to listen to while on stage, nobody at microsoft has the same kind of presence, and if previous years are anything to go by we wont see a charismatic person on stage at the sony conference as well. |

Microsoft spent way too much time pushing what most likely will be a gigantic gimmick. Most people who actually care about games don't really give two s about the Kinect anyways.
Nintendo was really surprising, a complete 180 from their conference last year. |

Holy crap, Twisted Metal is back!
| quote: | | David Jaffe just emerged onstage at the PlayStation keynote for a surprise reveal: Twisted Metal. The series is returning to PlayStation consoles in an all new iteration on PS3, complete with flight. Yes, you read that correctly: you'll be able to fly in Twisted Metal. |

Twisted metal and portal 2 announcements, valve heads making peace with consoles...whatta show. Sorcery looked about the only really good game for the Move.
Nintendo stole the show tho with 3DS, zelda, all the new games...can't wait to see some more stuff on castlevania lord of shadows tomorrow. |

You're such a video-game snob but it's something I have to give you credit for.
Even though I have poor tastes when it comes to video-games. :p |
