magnetonium basically answered it for you, its sour tasting but in terms of health benefits it is pretty amazing.
i also prefer ryazhenka, it is sold at those russian stores as well, i recommend you try it, it is pretty tasty and probably my fav milk drink although it is not as good as kefir in health.

Matsoni? :p

Yeah, Eastern Europeans are masters of milk products :D

Dont remember what matsoni tastes like, it was long time ago. Ryazhenka makes some REALLY AMAZING cookies and cakes. :gsmile: Although I cant drink it on its own, warm milk is very unappetizing to me.
:p

Be warned: this video is not for the faint of heart, especially if you’re an animal lover. The footage comes from Conklin Dairy Farms in Ohio, where hidden cameras caught workers cruelly and mercilessly abusing cows and calves. I think people should know where the milk that they drink comes from.

What the is wrong with people??? :(

I'm glad that a cow is a sacred animal in India - I'm not from there, but I'm glad that there is at least one country where historically cows were not slaughtered or abused, but were respected and allowed to live out their lives freely.

In my opinion, it's okay to raise cows for milk and milk products (I myself stopped eating beef, as well as pork, more than ten years ago and I don't miss it at all, I also don't buy leather products), but NOT in circumstances where it entails unnecessary cruelty and abuse. How sad that some people are uncaring and indifferent about this...

It's the only kind they carry... also the one I tried last year for the first time. I guess I have to try others! I do want to note, it HAS to be served COLD. I despised the bottom half of my tall boy.
